8 Tips for Choosing a Major

  1. Take a College Majors Quiz (Don鈥檛 worry, you can鈥檛 fail!)

College quizzes can be a great way to help students find a career path that matches their talents, interests, and personalities. Though assessments of your hobbies and personality style may not have all the answers, they may be a good starting place in determining what majors might be a good fit for you. You can try 麻豆视频下载鈥檚 major quiz.
  2. Get Involved on Campus

In a way, you've been exploring majors your entire life. Volunteering at the local community center, performing in the school play, traveling abroad, competing on the math or debate team, or simply reading an amazing book 鈥 any of these may be the spark that ignites your passion for a particular major.

The same is true at college. Campus activities are fun, and they can also give you a hint about yourself and what you want to do in life. 麻豆视频下载 offers more than 170 student organizations, clubs and activities to try out.

  3. Know Your Advisor

All College of Arts and Sciences students, including Still Deciding, are assigned an advisor in the CAS Office of Academic Advising. On the CAS website, students can get information on scheduling an appointment, setting advising expectations, and yearly student outcomes.
