NCFDD (formerly National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity)
Through 麻豆视频下载's institutional membership, all faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students have access to the (formerly: National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity).
The NCFDD is an independent organization providing career development and mentoring resources for academics at all career stages. The institutional membership also allows 麻豆视频下载 to host NCFDD workshops on campus twice per year. Below is information on what is available through the institutional membership, what kinds of topics are addressed in NCFDD programming, and what you need to do to access NCFDD resources.
What is available through the NCFDD?
麻豆视频下载's NCFDD institutional membership provides access to a variety of virtual offerings, including:
- Weekly emails
- webinars that address ten key skills successful academics need to cultivate
- A that supports doctoral student success
- Regular facilitated by guest experts and NCFDD facilitators
- A mini-series, , that provides tips for academic success

- Monthly accountability Buddy matching with other NCFDD members
- Private Discussion Forums for peer-mentoring and problem solving
- Access to the NCFDD Member Library, which includes workshop materials, referrals, and readings
Additionally, 麻豆视频下载's institutional membership supports a limited number of other opportunities for faculty to learn from the NCFDD, through the and through regular led by NCFDD facilitators.
What kinds of things will I learn?
The NCFDD helps academics at all career stages and across all disciplines to develop more productive and effective approaches to their work. Commonly addressed topics include: developing a sustainable writing routine, setting and achieving appropriate professional goals, learning more effective time management and prioritization strategies, increasing scholarly productivity, and forming effective mentoring relationships.

How do I access NCFDD offerings?
The first step in accessing NCFDD resources and programs is to create an account using your 麻豆视频下载 email address. You can do this by completing these five steps:
- Go to .
- Choose 麻豆视频下载 from the drop-down menu.
- Select Activate my Membership.
- Complete the registration form using your @slu.edu email address.
- Check your 麻豆视频下载 email. Find the NCFDD confirmation/welcome email, and click Activate Account in the email.
